Our story

TaloTrace was born from a problem we kept running into ourselves.

Make software quality a certainty, not a compromise.

A world where anyone can build and ship software with the confidence that it works as intended and is ready for the real world.

Built by people who ship software

We are a team of product builders and engineers who have spent years building and shipping software. We move fast, launch products, iterate, break things, fix them, and ship again.

And we kept running into the same problem:

Quality became the bottleneck.

Not because engineers don't care about quality. Quite the opposite. We care deeply about what we ship. But as products grow, so does the number of things that can go wrong. More features. More devices. More integrations. More edge cases. More user journeys.

Eventually, someone has to check it all.

And traditionally, that meant more manual testing, more test cases, more processes, and more time spent making sure yesterday's code didn't break today's product.

We knew there had to be a better way.

We built what we wished we had

Rather than accept that as the cost of moving fast, we started building TaloTrace for ourselves.

The goal was simple:

Give engineers an expert quality function that works at the speed of software development.

Instead of simply running a predefined list of tests, TaloTrace can understand a product, explore it, follow real user journeys, investigate what happens, and produce evidence when something goes wrong.

And we didn't build it in a vacuum. We use TaloTrace on our own products.

Every problem we encounter, every workflow we need to test, every frustrating regression, and every limitation we discover becomes part of the product we build.

That matters to us because our assumptions are not theoretical. They are tested against software that is actually being built, changed, and shipped.

For engineers, by engineers

We believe quality should not be something that slows great engineering teams down. It should give them the confidence to move faster.

That means building a product that understands how engineers actually work. One that fits into existing development workflows, investigates problems instead of simply reporting them, provides evidence instead of noise, and helps teams focus their attention where it matters.

We don't want to build another dashboard full of test results. We want to build the quality function that every software team wishes they had.

Whether you're a developer building your first product, a startup shipping every week, or an engineering organisation supporting software used by millions of people, you should have access to that level of quality expertise.

Built from necessity. Proven through use. Built for what comes next.

TaloTrace started because we needed it. It continues because we use it. And we're building it because we believe the way software is tested needs to change.

Software development is becoming dramatically faster. AI can now write code, generate features, and help teams ship at a pace that would have been unimaginable a few years ago.

Quality cannot remain stuck in the past.

We believe the next generation of software deserves a new kind of quality function: one that is autonomous, intelligent, continuously learning, and capable of keeping up with the people and systems it serves.

We're building TaloTrace for the way software is built today, and for the way it will be built tomorrow.
